The JOKI Receives National Recognition and Award

La Siesta is making history in NYC these days. Right on 5th avenue, the Guggenheim Museum has featured the JOKI hammock in their Spring window display. This kid’s hammock chair is known for being a comfortable spot for any child to play and daydream. In the spirit of Spring, the Guggenheim’s display shows off all of the fun colors that pop up with the season.

The Guggenheim Museum is an art museum located in New York City, which opened its doors in 1939. The museum features different collections including Modern, Impressionist, and contemporary art.

The museum, commonly called the Guggenheim, not only is a well-known art spot to visit while in the city but has made several appearances as a cultural icon in television series and films. The museum boasted over 1.2 million visitors in 2013 as many guests came to take in the art and different exhibitions on display.

With the Guggenheim’s unique architecture, the JOKI hammock chair makes a complementary choice in the museum’s display windows. Be sure to check out the hammocks and the art if you’re in the area and have a chance to visit the museum.
